Video Text - Overhead Press from Ball


The name of this exercise is called Overhead Press from the Ball. This is my client Mark and he's going to perform the exercise while I'll explain it. This exercise is going to work your whole shoulder girdle area, plus it's going to work your triceps. Plus it's going to work your core because you are on an unstable surface--plus it's going to work balance.

So, Mark's going to grab dumbbells, press them over his head, meet them in the middle and come back down to his ears. Good and again. Now, to regress this exercise, all you need to do is get on a stable surface such as a bench.

To progress this exercise, Mark's going to grab one dumbbell in his right hand and lift his left leg then press the dumbbell overhead and come back down to his ears again.. Very good. This progression will really work balance and therefore more of your core area.
